Army Reserve Pfc. Jeffrey Lounsbury graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, in Columbia, S.C. Lounsbury is the son of Kathy Lounsbury, of Baltimore.
After 42 years of service, Marge Rupp has retired from St. Michael the Archangel School. She began her career with St. Michael's in 1967 as a parent and volunteer in the library. She later became a member of the staff in the library and a member of the office staff.
Cushman & Wakefield announced that Atradius, a leading provider of credit management solutions, has signed a deal to move its U.S. headquarters office to Schilling Green, at 230 Schilling Circle, in Hunt Valley. Atradius is currently located in White Marsh.
Joanne Williams was nominated to be director of the county's Department of Aging, replacing Arnold Eppel. County Council will hold a confirmation hearing on Williams' nomination June 30 at 3 p.m. Williams was appointed deputy of the Department of Aging in January 2008.
James Fish, director of the Baltimore County Public Library, was appointed by Gov. Martin O'Malley to become a member and chairman of the Maryland Advisory Council on Libraries for the remainder of a five-year term ending June 30, 2010.
