Our Catonsville community officially ushers in the holiday season at the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Egges Lane and Frederick Road.

Catonsville's Holiday House, now in its 16th year, becomes Santa Central as the jolly man makes his annual appearance on a fire truck.

Start your holiday season with free refreshments, seasonal music, fireworks and a visit with Santa in the heart of Catonsville.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16, the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce will host its annual holiday party at Overhills Mansion, 916 S. Rolling Road at noon.

The chamber uses this occasion to elect its 2010 officers and board of directors and adopt the 2010 budget.

A festive luncheon is followed by our featured member profile drawing, a 50/50 raffle and holiday-themed door prizes.
