Amy Duncan, of Parkville, and Janet Libertini, of Perry Hall, have become independent consultants with Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct-sales company featuring easy-to-prepare food products.

The Baltimore County Police Department awarded three Purple Heart awards to officers Dino Bozzi, Ronald Daffron and Walter Mueller Jr., all of the White Marsh Precinct, at an awards ceremony Oct. 27 at the Oregon Ridge Conference Center, in Cockeysville. Awards in Emergency Services were given to Cpl. Raymond Boccelli and Officer Nancy Moroz, both of the Parkville Precinct, and Officer Jeremy Gryctz, of the White Marsh Precinct.

Ashley Ruth, of Perry Hall, has been named the personal moving consultant at Oak Crest, an Erickson retirement community.

Franklin Square Hospital Center was presented the Trailblazer Award for its environmental leadership by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Trailblazer Award recognizes hospitals that show leadership in moving their facilities toward sustainable practices.
