The Catonsville-based Erickson Retirement Communities promoted Tom Neubauer to executive vice president of a sales department that includes 235 employees.

Before joining Erickson a decade ago, Neubauer spent 13 years in sales management with Xerox.

The Bucknell University alumnus lives in Glen Arm with his wife and two children.
