Recently, members of the Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown, along with the Key Clubs from Franklin, Owings Mills and Hereford high schools, made cookies for deployed service men and women.

Club members gathered Nov. 21 at the Reisterstown United Methodist Church to make cookies, and then load them in boxes along with other items, such as toiletries, books and stationary.

The boxes were them mailed to troops serving in Afghanistan.
