Doyle's Christmas Tree Farm -- 1155 Bernoudy Road, White Hall. www.doyleschristmastreefarm.com. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5, 6; Dec. 12, 13; and Dec. 19, 20. Douglas firs only. $50 up to 8 feet tall and $65 for taller trees. Price includes netting. No chain saws. Bow saws provided. All pets must be leashed. No rest room facilities. Directions: I-83 north to exit 27 (Mt. Carmel Road) toward Hereford. Turn left at York Road. Go about 2.5 miles, turn right at Wiseburg Road. Follow to slight right at Bernoudy Road. Go about one mile. Farm on right.

Davidson Christmas Tree Farm -- 1101 Emory Church Road, Upperco. 410-239-6556; www.davidsonchristmastreefarm.com. Open through Dec. 24, Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fraser, Douglas, Concolor, Canaan firs and balsam. White and Scotch pine. Norway, Serbian, Col Blue and white spruce. Prices from $32 to $48 for trees up to 8 feet tall and $6 per foot for taller trees. Also pre-dug trees. Snack bar, gift shop and wagon rides on weekends. Fresh wreaths, roping and greens. Directions: I-695 to I-795 to Route 140 west. Turn right at Route 9, to Finksburg, and go 3 miles. Turn left at Emory Church Road. Farm on right.

Feezers Farm -- 3700 Wards Chapel Road, Marriottsville. 410-461-5654; www.feezersfarm.com. Open Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through Dec. 20. Blue spruce, Douglas fir, pre-cut Fraser fir. Directions: From I-695, take I-70 W to exit 83 (Marriottsville Road). Follow signs for Marriottsville Road north, to Baltimore County Road and continue onto Marriottsville Road. Turn left at Wards Chapel Road. Farm on left.

Frostee Tree Farm -- 8926 Cowenton Ave., Perry Hall. 410-391-5113, 410-256-5560, www.FrosteeTreeFarm.com. Open through December, Saturdays and Sundays only, 8 a.m. to dark. White pine up to 16 feet; Douglas fir and Norway spruce to eight feet. Directions: From Baltimore Beltway, take I-95 north to exit 67A to Route 43 (White Marsh Boulevard), and east on Route 43 to Philadelphia Road. Turn right at light go to next intersection and turn left onto Cowenton Avenue. Go over I-95, farm is on the left.

Jones' Christmas Tree Plantation -- 16500 Old York Road, Monkton. 410-472-3380. Open Dec. 5, 6, 12 and 13, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All white pines are $17. Limited supply of Douglas and Canaan firs for $25 to $65. Pre-cuts also available. Cash or local checks. No credit or debit cards. Directions: Baltimore Beltway to Dulaney Valley Road. North on Dulaney Valley Road to Jarrettsville Pike, and left on Jarrettsville Pike to Manor Road. Left onto Manor Road to Old York Road, and follow Old York Road north to farm, on left.

Mt. Carmel Tree Farm -- 2105 Mt. Carmel Road, Parkton. 410-329-8032; www.mtcarmeltreefarm.com. Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Fraser fir, white and Scotch pine and Norway spruce. Prices from $40 to $90. Also pre-cut trees. Wagon rides on weekends. Gift shop with greens, swags, roping and centerpieces. Directions: Baltimore Beltway to Interstate 83. North on I-83, take exit 27, left 2.75 miles to sign on left.

Pleasant Hill Tree Farm -- 1302 Monkton Road, Monkton. 410-329-6239. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Dec. 16. Blue spruce only. $40. Holly, greens, snacks and hot chocolate. Directions: Baltimore Beltway to Interstate 83. North on I-83, take exit 27, and right to York Road. Right on York to Monkton Road and left on Monkton Road to farm.

Poplar Run Tree Farm -- 4221 Church Road, Millers. 410-374-3074. Open through Dec. 20, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weekends only. Norway, Colorado, Serbian spruce, white pine. Also tree netting, wreaths, garland and rest room facilities. Baltimore Beltway to Falls Road. North on Falls Road to Grave Run Road. Right onto Grave Run to Church Road. Right onto Church Road to farm, on right.

Ruhl's Tree Farm -- 14430 Jarrettsville Pike, Phoenix. 410-666-2924. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through Dec. 23. Douglas, Concolor, Canaan firs. Also blue spruce. $40 or $45. Wreaths and roping. Saws available. Directions: Located a half mile north of Jacksonville; From I-695, take exit 27B, Dulaney Valley Road, for 4 miles, then a left on Jarrettsville Pike (Route 146) for 5 miles to farm on left.
