Perry Hall Kingsville

As the 2008-2009 school year begins, Kingsville Elementary School got a head start with their Back to School Night on Aug. 19. Parents and current students were able to meet the teachers and administration and get a head start with information on routines, goals and expectations.

The Kingsville family welcomes new faculty members as follows: school counselor Jennifer Abbe, physical education teacher Mindy Williams, teachers Anna Messing and Jill Taylor, and fourth-grade teacher Amy Leatherman.

Principal Susan Felts and the entire staff are happy to have them aboard. The school's theme for this school year is "Space" because the students, teachers and administrators are "out of this world!"

Here's to much success as Kingsville blasts off. And, best wishes to all the students in Perry Hall and Kingsville for a safe and successful back-to-school time.

Online pet memorial

Because of the recent passing of their beloved dog, Elsa, it's a sad time at the Vosburg home in Seven Oaks. While missing the beach-loving lab, they created a memorial Web site for her. Go to www.dogster.com/dogs/717640 to read all about Elsa and her charmed Perry Hall life, sign her guest book and leave her a bone. The Vosburg family share this memorial of their Frisbee-throwing, furry, family member hoping to help others dealing with a similar loss.
