If you can tie a knot and offer a spoken or silent prayer, join Halethorpe-Relay United Methodist Church's prayer partners at 4513 Ridge Ave. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 7:15 p.m. or Thursday, Oct. 23, at 10:15 a.m.
Both sessions are coordinated by Diane Rust, who hopes to blanket those in need of prayer with hand-tied creations.

* On Saturday, Oct. 25, spooky fun is on tap from 7-9 p.m. in the church hall. Families may take pumpkins to carve or paint; seasonal games are planned; caramel apples, cider and other snacks will be served, free of charge, as "bootiful" music plays on. Costumes are optional.
