Kevin and Nancy Budich announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Budich, to Mark Lynn, son of James and Elizabeth "Libby" Lynn of Halethorpe.

A 2003 alumna of Howard High School, the bride-to-be works as a teller at BB&T Bank in Catonsville.

She also attends Howard Community College and is pursuing a career as a registered nurse.

The prospective groom, a graduate of Lansdowne High School, is employed as a commercial electrician with Windsor Electric Co., Owings Mills.

He proposed at sunset during an Alaskan cruise.

The couple will wed in July.
