Join Brightview Assisted Living-- for its seventh annual holiday craft fair on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is free to the public. and features a variety of vendors displaying handmade jewelry, Longaberger baskets, pottery, hand decorated clothing, needlework and ornaments.

Stop by the Activity Room and enjoy a lunch of homemade soup, hot dogs and beverage for a small fee. Brightview is located at 8100 Rossville Blvd.

The Hamiltowne Association-- is sponsoring a bus trip to the American Music Theater to see the Christmas Show on Nov. 30. Lunch will be at Hershey Farm Lodge. The bus will leave at 10:30 a.m. from the American Legion at Seiling Avenue and will return at 7 p.m. Costs $85. Call Marlene at 410-866-5562.

St. Michael's will hold its 62nd annual Christmas Bazaar-- on Nov. 7 and 8. This year's theme is "Christmas in Whoville."

November would not be complete without the sounds of clicking wheels and Christmas music mingled with the smells of fried dough, pit beef, or the $10,000 raffle prize. Raffle tickets are $1.

The bazaar also includes crafts for the children, homemade goodies, Grandma's Attic full of treasures and the Beer Garden.

The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. This is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and alumni, while getting into the Christmas spirit.

Seven Oaks Senior Center-- is offering free blood-pressure screening Nov. 5 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and flu shots from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost for non-Medicare is $30 for flu and $45 for pneumonia. Cash or check to Maxim Health System will be accepted.

Also on Nov. 12 at 9 a.m., join the center for its annual Veterans' Day Breakfast Celebration to honor our members who are also veterans.

Breakfast menu includes eggs, sausage, hash browns, juice and coffee. Veterans are free and all others are welcome to attend at a fee of $4.

The Overlea Fullerton Business and Professional Association-- invites all members and businesses neighbors on the Belair Road corridor for a networking social on Nov. 19 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Eastern Savings Bank in the K-Mart shopping center off Belair Road.

Kids, help make this Veterans' Day special--You can say a special thank you for Veteran's Day to a soldier who has fought for our country by coloring a picture on a white 8- by11-inch paper that says "thank you" to a soldier.

EmbroidME will use its garment printer to apply your artwork to t-shirts and deliver them to a soldier in the VA Hospital on Veteran's Day.
