Caroline Voultepsis and Payton Campbell, both 6, enjoy Halloween festivities in Guilford.
Young ghosts, goblins and ghouls were out in force on Halloween, haunting Guilford’s Sherwood Gardens and Greenway in broad daylight.

But they were only there to get their hands on some candy.
And there was plenty of it, plus a parade for children who were dressed up in all kinds  of costumes and masks.

Many were carrying baskets and they and their parents strolled all around the idyllic gardens.
The event was rain or shine and luckily for the crowd, it was  all sunshine on a beautiful late afternoon.

Dozens of children also trick-or-treated on Greenway, whose stately houses were all decked out in their own “costumes” — decorations that were more fun than scary.
