A family-focused hike to raise funds for youth in the county will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15,  at a business park along White Marsh Boulevard (Route 43).

St. John Properties, a developer at Baltimore Crossroads@95, is the major sponsor of the event to benefit the Police Athletic League and its nine recreation centers in the county.

The event will consist of a mile track, suitable for walking or running, and a five-kilometer route that will cover paved and off-road trails.

Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. and continue through the 9 a.m. start of the race. The price is $35 for adults, with discounts for youth, military personnel and veterans.

Participants will receive a T-shirt, brunch and other gifts.
