Finding value in the organizations you are involved in is very important.

It’s important for you as a member, and it’s important to the group to keep you around. Well, we’ve done it again -- that’s right, the ROMG Chamber of Commerce has created a tangible value for you as a chamber member.  It’s our very own local Merchant Card.

Each ROMG chamber member is entitled to two free cards (if you haven’t already received yours, feel free to stop by the office to pick yours up, or drop us a line and we’ll mail them out to you).  As a chamber member, you will get discounts at local restaurants (Bill Bateman’s, Gourmet Girls, and Tonino’s, to name a few); discounts at the Reisterstown Sportsplex and Laser Sport; discounts to floor cleaning from Wright Way Floor Care, and much more.

This merchant card is good for the entire year of 2009.  And it has 13 different discounts and offers for you to take advantage of.  Looking for an inexpensive thank you for your customers?  Look no further -- this merchant card is also available for purchase for only $5 per card.  What a nice way to give back to your customers as well as to local area merchants -- make sure you get yours today.

A very special thank you goes out to Jerry Benesch for putting this project together. You rock, Jerry!

Ding dong, the witch is dead...

What am I talking about?  Well, it could only be one thing my pretties ... Charter Night 2009! There’s no place like home. This is the event of the year that you must be a part of.  Get your reservations in today.  There are still sponsorship opportunities available as well.  Let’s support our incoming president, Rachel Heird from Farmers and Merchants Bank, and our incoming board members.  If you haven’t guessed the theme, it’s a play on the Wizard of Oz.  This year’s event is sure to be one to be remembered.

The ROMG Chamber of Commerce would like to thank our sponsors thus far:

  • Tin Man Level: Farmers and Merchants Bank

  • Scarecrow level: Auto Collision Specialists; Carroll Tree Service; The Harbour School; Hilton Garden Inn Owings Mills; Northwest Savings Bank; State Farm Insurances -- James E. Flower Agency, Inc.
