The business skills competition consisted of both online tests students took at their schools and performance events which took place at the regional conference.

Students who placed first, second, or third in the online tests or in who placed first or second in the performance tests are eligible to compete at the state conference, to be held March 25-27 in Hunt Valley.
Students who qualify in the state events are eligible to compete at the national level. This year's national conference will be held in Nashville in July.
The region consists of high schools in Baltimore County that offer a state approved Career and Technology Education (CTE) business or computer science program.
