Pumpkin bowling, a scarecrow-stuffing contest and pin the tail  on the jack-o-lantern are some of the featured activities at Cromwell Valley Park’s annual Fall Harvest Festival on Oct. 11 and 12.

“We do relay races as well,” said Susan Dorsey, the park’s administrative assistant.

On Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m., the park will host chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits and, according to Dorsey, “a couple alpacas.”

Admission is a $5 per car donation but activities are free, Dorsey said.

On Saturday, the Lone Mountain Band will perform, followed on Sunday by the Back Porch Players, both of which are “old timey bluegrass,” Dorsey said.

Additionally, the park will have Music With Miss Barb, an interactive musical performance for little children, Dorsey said.

Refreshments will be available for purchase, and other activities include hay rides, pony rides and compost demonstrations.

All activities will be at Willow Grove Farm in the park, at 2175 Cromwell Bridge Road. For more information, call the park at 410-887-2503.
