The Freeland Road bridge that crosses over the Little Falls will be closed for four to five days in July for maintenance.

The 60-foot bridge will be closed July 7-11, said David Fidler, spokesman for the county’s Public Works Department. The bridge is on Freeland Road, between Middletown Road and Millers Mill Road.

He said the bridge’s metal deck will be coated with an anti-skid material consisting of an epoxy with grit sprayed onto it.

The following detour route will be marked: Middletown Road to Kenney Mill Road, to Oakland Road, to Ridge Road, to Freeland Road.
