The following is compiled from police reports from the Cockeysville Precinct. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

White Hall

Hicks Road, 1300 block, between 10 a.m. and noon, Dec. 11. Two shotguns and 22-caliber rifle stolen after rear door kicked in.

Sparks

Yeoho Road, 15800 block, at 3:25 p.m. Dec. 11. When man carrying laptop computer and 12-gauge bolt action shotgun was confronted by homeowner, he dropped items and left. Entry to house through rear garage door which was kicked in. Andrew Janik, 20, later arrested at his home on Cold Bottom Road in Sparks.
