The following is a synopsis of local planning cases that make their way through the Baltimore County planning process. These cases involve projects in the 3rd council districts and are open to the public.

Development Review Committee

DRC meetings are held in Meeting Room 123 of the County Office Building, 111 W. Chesapeake Ave. in Towson.

*Sept. 29, 1:30 p.m. -- 3911 Sweet Air Road, Phoenix. The proposal is to construct an addition to the existing church.

*Oct. 6, 1:30 p.m. -- 308 Bentley Road, Parkton. The proposal is for a lot line adjustment.

*Oct. 6, 1:30 p.m. -- Sweet Air Road and Fox Run Court, Phoenix. The proposal is to construct a park with a community center, storage building, playground, picnic shelters and athletic fields.

*Oct. 6, 1:30 p.m. -- 17433 Big Falls Road, Monkton. The proposal is to replace the existing pool and pool house.

*Oct. 6, 1:30 p.m. -- York Road and Sparks Valley Road, Sparks. The proposal is for a development refinement for lot 3B.
