Baltimore County police are investigating a bar fight in Lansdowne that left one man injured with a cut to the head.

The incident occurred Oct. 4 at 10:17 p.m. in the bar at Renee’s Restaurant and Lounge, 3911 Hollins Ferry Road.

Two men, each armed with a pool cue, used the cues to attack a third man, who was sitting at a video slot machine, police reported.

The attackers broke the cues, then continued beating the man with their fists, police reported
.
The fight continued for about five minutes up and down the length of the room, until witnesses stepped in to separate the men. The attackers fled the scene on foot, according to police.

A woman was hit in the eye with a fist while trying to help break up the fight, but she declined medical treatment, according to police.

The injured man, his head bandaged with bar towels soaked in his blood, was treated for the head cut by emergency medical technicians from the Lansdowne Volunteer Fire Department.

He was transported by the department’s medic unit to St. Agnes Hospital’s emergency room, where he was treated and released Oct. 4 in “irritable” condition, according to police.
