The 10th annual Hereford Fall Festival, to benefit the Hereford Volunteer Fire Company, will be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18 and 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the field next to Graul's shopping center on Mt. Carmel Road in Hereford.

There will be plenty of activities for children, including monster truck rides, pony and hay rides, a moon bounce, rock-climbing wall and games.

A BMX racing course will once again be set up for both bicycles and motorcycles.

Bands will play both days, and shoppers can browse among booths set up by local crafters.

The Hereford Zone Business Association's tent offers silent auction items and baskets that will be raffled off.

Food includes pit beef and ham, fried chicken, crab dip, crab cakes and French fries.

The festival features Basignani, Boordy and Woodhall wines, as well as a beer truck.

Admission is $10 for wine-tasting adults and includes six wine sample coupons and a special 10th anniversary wine glass. Nontasters pay $5, and children under the age of 12 are free with a paying adult.
