The following is a synopsis of local planning cases that make their way through the Baltimore County planning process. These cases involve projects in the 3rd council districts and are open to the public.

Development Review Committee

DRC meetings are held in Meeting Room 123 of the County Office Building, 111 W. Chesapeake Ave. in Towson.

•Feb. 23, 1:30 p.m., 19411 Resh Mill Road, Hampstead. The proposal is for a lot line adjustment.

•Feb. 23, 1:30 p.m., 20100 Middletown Road, Freeland. The proposal is to subdivide the property.

Zoning Commissioner’s Hearings

Hearings are held in Room 104 of the Jefferson Building, 105 W. Chesapeake Ave., Towson, unless otherwise specified.

•Feb. 19, 9 a.m., 602 Cascade View Court, White Hall. Variance 1. To permit a future accessory building with a height of 18 feet in lieu of the maximum permitted 15 feet. 2. To permit a future accessory building at a location in the front yard, outside of the third of the lot farthest removed from any street. 3. For such other and further relief as may be deemed necessary by zoning commissioner.

•Feb. 19, 11 a.m., 3807 Rockdale Road, Manchester. Variance to permit a propsed accessory building (garage) in the side yard with a height of 18 feet in lieu of the requirement that such a structure be in the rear yard and have a maximum allowed height of 15 feet.
