Prettyboy Elementary School in Freeland closed Friday at 9:30 a.m.

The closure is due to a power outage, according to Baltimore County Pubic Schools.

Prettyboy Elementary is located at 19810 Middletown Road in Freeland.

In addition, according to the BGE Web site -- www.bge.com  -- more than 2,000 customers in northern Baltimore County were without power Friday morning.
