Baltimore County Police have released photos of two people they say are responsible for a shooting at a Jarrettsville gas station last month.
On April 21, a man and a woman entered the BP gas station in the 14200 block of Jarrettsville Pike around 4:10 a.m. and asked to use a bathroom.
The female clerk, who was working alone in the store, refused to allow the two to do so.
“She felt uncomfortable,” said Cpl. Mike Hill, a police spokesman.
The couple argued briefly with the clerk before leaving the station and getting into a car. As the couple was driving by, the clerk “heard a pop — and the window shattered,” Hill said.
Police found no evidence that anyone else other than the clerk and the couple were in the store or on the gas station property at the time of the incident.
The man is described as black, aged 33 to 36, about 6-feet tall, and weighing about 210 pounds. He has green eyes and a dark goatee.
The woman is described as white with blonde hair, about 23 years old, about 5-feet 6-inches tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587. Tips can also be sent to Metro Crime Stoppers via text message at “CRIMES” (274637), then enter the message starting with “MCS,” then add the information.
Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
