It'll be double the pleasure Friday, June 19, on Allegheny Avenue, as Towson Area Citizens on Patrol holds its annual rally against crime, 6 to 9:30 p.m.

COP is a network of volunteers from 24 communities working with police throughout the year to help reduce crime.

During the rally, kids and adults can climb on a fire truck, get inside a police car, hug Snoopy, pretend to drive a race car and greet the K-9 unit from the Baltimore County Sheriff's Office.

The COP attractions and a 6 p.m. awards ceremony will be incorporated into the Towson Chamber of Commerce's weekly Feet on the Street block party on Allegheny Avenue west of the roundabout.
