Oct. 11, 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Fall harvest festival at 100 Lakefront Drive, Hunt Valley. Proceeds benefit Pathfinders for Autism. Food by Damon’s Grill, moon bounce, face painting, prizes, games, children’s arts and crafts, flea market vendors and silent auction.

 Oct. 11: ,Fight Like A Girl! vendor & craft day  to benefit the Komen Race for the Cure (Team is Emily’s Army),  10 a.m.- 3p.m. at Babcock Church, 8240 Loch Raven Blvd. Crafters, vendors, quilting sessions, door prizes, ticket raffle, food, children’s activities. Oct. 11: Saturday Night Fever from 7-10 p.m. at St. Joseph Parish, 105 Church Lane, Cockeysville. A night of dinner and dancing for all adults. Proceeds benefit the youth ministry. Oct. 12: The Preparatory Division of the Peabody Institute  celebrates the 50th anniversary of its Towson campus with a benefit recital  3 p.m. at 949 Dulaney Valley Road. Featured: award-winning pianist Eric Zuber. Proceeds will go toward improvements to the Preparatory’s Towson campus. Oct. 12: Historic Sudbrook Park’s 5th annual Arts in the Park Music and Art Festival, noon to 6 p.m. at Stream Valley Park, McHenry and Kingston roads in Pikesville. Bring blanket or lawn chair and enjoy live music, hands-on art creations, crafts vendors and food. 410-653-9847.

Oct 18: Irvine Nature Center, 11201 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, hosts PumpkinFest, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., rain date Oct. 19. Free and open to the public, however parking is $15.

Oct. 18: Gordon Center for Performing Arts, 3506 Gwynnbrook Ave., Owings Mills, presents The Girl Singers, a tribute to Doris Day, Peggy Lee and Rosemary Clooney, starring Sue Matthews, 8 p.m. Tickets, $20. 410-356-7469 or www.gordoncenter.com.

Oct. 3-5: Johns Hopkins Hospital’s 41st annual Best Dressed Sale & Boutique, at the  Evergreen Museum & Library Carriage House, 4545 N. Charles St. Proceeds to benefit the nursing scholarship fund.  Admission free. Hours vary. 410-955-9341.
